Action for Children
Action for Children (AfC) is a UK charity which was founded in London in 1869 by Thomas Bowman Stephenson who established their first “Children’s Home”. Today, the charity provides a number of services across the UK, including adoption, schools, residential homes, fostering, education and children’s centres, to more than 300,000 children, families and young people.
AfC supports and speaks up for the UK’s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people. With 5,000 workers and more than 400 locations across the UK.
"Stoneseed’s consultancy identified those areas where process efficiencies would lead to people efficiencies, and also identified areas where due to changes in the business, additional resources were anticipated and when they could be met at no extra cost – improving both our Service Delivery effectiveness, but also maximising our resource utilisation and ensuring cost savings."
