Did you know?
2025 is a perfect square year: 45 x 45 =2025.
This is actually pretty cool!
The last one was 1936! The next will be 2116!! For many of us, 2025 will be the only perfect square year we get to see in our lifetime!!!
This piqued the interest of my inner mathematics nerd, project management professionals all have this side (right?), I mean, who doesn’t love a pattern?! Meanwhile, others have different interpretations and attach different meanings to what a perfect square year means!
It sparks imaginative interpretations and optimistic symbolism, it is viewed through a lens of balance, harmony, and new opportunities.
Here’s just a few examples of what people think a perfect square year will bring:
Order and Balance: Inspired by the mathematical precision of a perfect square, some see such a year as a time for achieving balance and stability in life, relationships, and goals.
Fresh Beginnings: A perfect square year can feel symbolic of a clean slate, much like a perfect geometric shape, encouraging growth and new endeavours and adventures.
Milestones and Achievement: The rarity of perfect square years might inspire individuals and organisations to set ambitious goals, seeing it as a year for significant accomplishments.
Innovation and Creativity: People may view it as a year of building (squaring things up), symbolising progress in technology.
Reflection and Structure: The precision of a square can inspire focus on creating a more structured and thoughtful approach to their personal and professional lives.
So, a perfect square year symbolises order, balance, structure, ambitious goals … well I’m spotting a pattern!!!
As these are all key principles in project management, what better time than a perfect square year to square up to your IT Project challenges and box them off for good – with Project Management as a Service!
WHAT IS PROJECT MANAGEMENT AS A SERVICE?
Project Management as a Service (or PMaaS) is an innovative way to procure IT project management resources and services – it’s an alternative to traditional permanent hires or using contractors.
While PMaaS gives you access to a resource pool of Programme and Project Management specialists, it isn’t just about project managers. There’s IT Technical Advisory, PMO Services, and Business Analysts via Business Analysis as a Service (whether you need a business case for an IT Project, requirements gathering or data analysis to help with project implementation, BAaaS, like all PMaaS components, can be tailored to your specific needs).
WHY PMAAS IS THE PERFECT SQUARE DEAL
Here are 10 GREAT reasons to partner with Stoneseed in 2025:
1 – Access To Best-In-Their-Class Project Professionals
PMaaS gives you access to highly skilled and experienced project managers, business analysts and other project talent with proven expertise in IT projects and a track record in handling and delivering complex projects.
2 – True End-to-End Service
Stoneseed’s services portfolio offers a true end-to-end service, from IT Technical Advisory, Business Analysis Services and PMO Services through to Programme & Project Delivery.
3 – A Multiverse of Experience
Stoneseed’s team are experienced across multiple technology solutions, sectors and industries, and we work on all types of projects and programmes such as Business Change, Transformation, Infrastructure, Digital and IT Project Delivery.
4 – Flexibility and Control
Turn it on, turn it off, turn it up or turn it down. Stoneseed’s innovative on-demand resource model allows you to dial up and down IT project resources in sync with your delivery needs.
5 – Cost-Effective Solution
The PMaaS commercial model could not be more straightforward! We work with you to forecast the project resources you’ll need and then provide a rate card with resources defined by type and skill set. Resources are called off against your demand schedule and can “flex” up and down throughout the period. You are billed just for the resources consumed at the end of each month. PMaaS enables you to align resources as and when you need them, on a cost effective, full-time or part-time basis.
6 – A Multiverse of Skills
PMaaS gives you access to a wide portfolio of project skills, made available against your demand schedule, from a single Project Manager, Business Analyst, Technical Advisory or PMO expert for a few days, right through to a large team of fully utilised project professionals.
7 – Onsite or Remote
All Stoneseed’s PMaaS services are available onsite or remote, in fact were already experts in Remote Project Delivery before it even “became a thing” during the pandemic. Accessing talent in this way gives you the ultimate resourcing flexibility.
8 – 100% Independent and Objective
Stoneseed’s only commitment is to deliver the best outcomes to you – our client. Using a model that is fully scalable and delivering benefits that are fully repeatable, Stoneseed’s integrity and focus is always “clientside”. As we say, “You retain control – we take responsibility.”
9 – Among The First – Still the Best
When David and Jamie launched the Stoneseed business back in 2009, they created one of the UK’s first PMaaS delivery teams. This model was initially a collaborative effort with Stoneseed’s earliest clients, and its continued development is still very much grounded in strong client partnerships. The model has evolved alongside client needs and remains tightly aligned with the challenges our clients face.
10 – “Time Served” Management Team
Stoneseed’s leadership and delivery team is made up of senior executives and highly experienced IT professionals who combine deep knowledge of technology and IT support with profound experience gained in senior business and commercial roles. This mix has given us a unique perspective – we know what the right models, governance and approaches look like! We also know about the pitfalls and potential bottlenecks on the road to IT services success.
Let’s put some numbers on the board.
David Cotgreave, Stoneseed’s Professional Services Director has over 20 years of experience in IT consulting, and an unparalleled expertise in Business Continuity, ERP Solutions, Strategic Planning and IT Application Procurement gained working with major organisations like BT Engage IT and KPMG, before co-founding Stoneseed in 2009.
